Well behaved pets are welcome. We have a bias towards adult occupation with no special on-site facilities for children.

There is a National Cycle way just half a mile from Meadowlands and various specialist fishing lakes close by. Country walks start at our gateway - Snipe Dale woods and heath are great for walking as is Gibraltar Point for bird watching. Just a short walk down the road is a Heavy Horse Centre. Well a worth a visit to see some of their horses. Horse riding nearby (By prior pointment).

Only five miles away is the aviation museum at East Kirkby - a very interesting day out, they even have Lancaster Bomber taxi runs which you may go on. The Battle of Britain flight is closeby.

Only ten miles away is Horncastle with it's many antique centres, market and some interesting architecture. A short drive away are the Seaside towns of Skegness, Mablethorpe and Chapel St Loenards. The market town of Alford has a working windmill and Craft Market.

A pleasant stroll from the park is a rare renovated 16th Century Baptist Chapel at Monksthorpe, full of charm and interest and occasional services. These are just a few of the many places to visit we hope we have whet your appetite to find out more...
